Race on the Base – Los Alamitos, CA

This will be the 28th Annual Los Alamitos Race on the Base. There are events designed for everyone. Included are a 5K run, 10K run, and of course the 10K inline. The event supports some great causes and brings a good crowd every year.

Squiggy Classic Inline – Tampa, FL

March 13 - 15, 2009

This is a multi-sport event, but the inline is what we’re all about. The course is a 7-mile loop on level pavement that is in good condition. There are half and full marathon skates as well as time trials (March 14) and even a night skate (March 13). Plan on making this a weekend event as it is jammed pack with festivities and things to do.

Texas Road Rash Marathon - Round Rock, TX

April 23-24, 2010

The Texas Road Rash in Round Rock near Austin takes place on a closed, smooth loop in Settler’s Park. After the race the organizers provide a Texas BBQ with music. The Elimination Race is back after great success.  Come on out and watch the elimination race and then skate the marathon!

Don’t mess with Texas. They know how to have a good time and they got this event running smoothly. In speaking with the organizers, they are out to make the Texas Road Rash bigger and better in 2010.

Baxter Inline Marathon – Baxter, MN

The Baxter Inline Marathon was started in 2001 and brings participants from all over the US and Canada. The half marathon is one lap around the course and the full is two laps. The setting is beautiful and the event welcomes skaters of all levels. 

Skate of the Union Race – Chantilly, VA

June 14, 2009 

Inline skating enthusiasts get a very unique opportunity to skate on the Fairfax County Police Department’s Driver Training Facility. There are opportunities for everyone whether you wear speed skate, or are just starting out. Events include a Half Marathon going 13.1 miles (12 laps), a Kids Roll (1 lap), and a FREE learn to skate clinic offered by certified instructors. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Virginia. 

Big Granite Marathon – Ashland, WI 

June 20, 2009 

This race in northern Wisconsin (not far from Duluth, Minnesota) consists of two laps on 13 miles of country and town roads. Much of the course rolls through scenic dairy country. The course has rolling hills, is considered challenging, and is recommended for intermediate or better skaters. The event is currently attracting about 200 skaters per year. 

Chicagoland Inline Marathon - Hoffman Estates, IL

Inline Warehouse was the title sponsor last year. The event was such a success and so much fun that we are sponsoring again this year. This is the 3rd year and already it is sure to be the 3rd largest inline marathon in the country.  Now part of the NROC circuit, the Chicagoland Marathon will have a bigger and better course, live bands every mile marker, and much more.  The inline marathon is now part of a weekend long Fitness for America Sports Festival. There are running events, cycling, and of course skating for all levels.  You don't want to miss this extraordinary event in Chicago.

Saint Paul Inline Marathon – St. Paul, MN

Organizers of the Saint Paul Inline Marathon had an incredible first year in 2004 with over 1,500 participants, and expect over 2,000 in 2009. Fun for all, they have many events to challenge skaters in endurance, as well as fun. The event caters well to those just wanting to cross the finish without pressure for time. The Wells Fargo 10 Mile Tour is perfect for those new to the sport. The 26.2 full marathon is there for others. This will be the 6th annual marathon for St. Paul and it ranks as the 2nd largest in North America. 

Northshore Inline Marathon – Duluth, MN

Adrenaline will surge on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 7:30 a.m. as the gun signals the start of the largest inline marathon in the U.S.A.! Following the same scenic course Grandma's marathoners have run along for the past 30 years, nearly 4,000 inline skaters will test their endurance in the 14th Annual NORTHSHORE INLINE MARATHON. This is the largest and best-organized skating marathon in North America, with about 4000 registrants each year. The course is 26.2 miles from Two Harbors in northern Minnesota along the shores of Lake Superior to Duluth. It is mostly flat and fast, although your speed will depend in part on the wind direction. This is a great marathon you should not miss!

Athens to Atlanta Road Skate - Athens, GA

This is the 28th anniversary for the A2A inline marathon. The oldest and some argue the best inline marathon. They have four distant options: 10K, 38 miles, 52.4 miles, and 87 miles.  The big kahuna at 87 miles is a lot of skating. This is a treasured event by many and a good time for all.

Houston Inline Marathon Weekend

October 31-November 1, 2009

This year will be the 3rd year for the Houston Inline Marathon.  The event has survived hurricanes, economic times and several challenges. They continue to strive to put on a fun and entertaining event and with the support of skaters like yourself, they can continue to grow.
