Overview

The Vaughn Vision 9400 Goalie Catcher features an anatomical design giving goaltenders superior control and balance. The Vision 9400 goalie glove offers solid protection up to the intermediate levels of ice hockey.

Full Neoprene internal hand with adjustment strap that provides for custom hand adjustment and alignment for superior glove control. Thumb tunnel design secures the thumb and transfers more power from the hand into the glove for quicker closing. The T-web pocket features skate lace pocket to reduce puck spin this provides for better puck retention and control. Select materials allow the glove to be custom heat molded to the hand for precise fit. Internal finger stalls are constructed of vented mesh materials for comfort and fast drying. Exterior back hand padding can be fully opened to access internal hand adjustment and allows the glove to be opened up for quicker drying. Notched lower thumb area allows for stick placement while shooting or stick handling for added control.

The Vaughn's been designing goalie equipment for years and their invaluable knowledge can be seen throughout all of their product lines.

Previous Feedback

Comments: I bought the Vaughn Vision 9400 Goalie Catcher Sr 8 months ago and right from the start the glove was relatively easy to open and close. The materials used are great and have held up nicely so far. Great glove for the price and I would highly recommend.

Comments: I first started playing in net about 2 years ago (early 2011), after playing defense since I was 6. I tried on a Vaughn Velocity V4 and 5, and they felt awkward. But after I tried on the Vision, it was a really good fit; it keeps your hand a little stretched, but closes quick still. The protection is excellent, no stingers on my palm near my thumb. The trap has a good size pocket and closes properly right out of the box. Didn't take long to break-in, and is quite affordable compared to competition.
