Overview
The Vaughn Velocity V6 800 Goalie Leg Pads are made with very high quality materials and are ideal for the Junior goaltender who is serious about performing at the highest level possible. The V6 800 is a scaled down version of the 2200 and 2000 leg pads in the V6 series, and retains many of the features found on those pro level pads.
The V6 800 leg pads are built with both the hybrid and butterfly goaltender in mind. Vaughn has taken great care to ensure that the V6 800 is a viable option for any young goaltender, and has designed the pad accordingly. With one break below the knee and a flexible boot, the leg pads provide great mobility. Conversely, by ensuring that the thigh rise remains rigid and is slightly larger than traditional hybrid leg pads, it satisfies the needs of the butterfly goaltender.
Vaughn has made sure that comfort and protection are focal points on the V6 800 pad. By having a large knee block with soft comfort foam on the inside and a high density outer calf wrap, Vaughn has made sure that all the young goaltender needs to worry about is having fun.
