Overview
The Vaughn Velocity V6 800 Goalie Catcher is designed for a young goaltender and has an easy break-in palm combined with a smaller shape to ensure easy and complete closure. The V6 800 catcher provides similar protection and performance to the senior models in the V6 series but in a scaled down size and weight to accommodate a younger person.
The V6 800 catcher has a very flexible and easy break-in palm that is designed specifically to help with glove closure for smaller hands. The catcher uses a deep T-web pocket that helps reduce puck spin and prevent pop outs from occurring. The back hand has full protection, which is especially important for preventing injuries from slashes while covering the puck along the ground. The extra wide cuff has a tapered opening that improves the fit while allowing excellent wrist mobility and protection. The molded palm and thumb protection is essential for preventing stingers to the hand that occur from hard shots.
