Triple 8 Dual Certified MIPS Helmets. The shell shape and function are based on feedback from Triple 8's top riders in vert skating, longboarding, BMX, and roller derby. It is a great-fitting, low-profile shell that is dual-certified, and with MIPS technology. Recommended for ages 5 and older.
MIPS was developed by brain surgeons and scientists to provide the best protection during hard impacts. MIPS technology mimics the skull's anatomy to disperse impacts more effectively and helps reduce injuries caused by rotational force in an effort to protect against brain injuries. It uses a low-friction layer that makes the helmet even more efficient in dissolving any impacts made at odd angles. The ABS outer shell with EPS liner for comfort. Includes two sets of Fit Pads to ensure you have the right fit and feel inside your helmet.
