The CCM V 04 Goalie Ice Skate is a solid mid-range skate with protection suitable for up to an intermediate level goalie.

The CCM V 04 goal skates use a high density foam in the core of the skate to provide protection and support. The quarter package of these skates use a low profile embossed poly that provides a lot of protection as well as increases support and strength of the skate. The CCM V 04 skate uses a microfiber liner to provide comfort and a quick drying process. To assist in the drying process CCM has included a metal mesh drain in the bottom of the skate. This drain will allow for some air flow to the foot as well has let any water escape the skate. For additional comfort CCM has used a tongue that provides lace-bite protection along with a comfort felt lining. The CCM Customlite cowlings use a textured design on the toe cap to allow or easier side-to-side movement. With the Proformance Carbon steel runners and the CCM Customlite cowlings the V 04 goalie skate provides a high level of durability, but still allows to the skate to be very lightweight.
