Rink Rat World Cup Pro All-Purpose Hockey Wheel

The Rink Rat World Cup Hockey Wheels are an ideal choice for a player who has a very heavy and powerful stride. These all-purpose wheels have an 82A outer urethane which is designed to work best with wood, smooth/painted concrete, and abrasive sport tiles.

The dual pour construction composes of Rink Rat's Mtech inner core, and a pro level urethane on the outside. Mtech is a flexible, 62a urethane that flexes well for better grip and rebounds back when you come out of your turns for better agility and speed. The outer layer is built with a 82a urethane that maintains high speeds and durability.

Comments: I chose them to skate on asphalt and play roller hockey indoor on an ice-rink without ice and I am very happy with my first skate yesterday on hot asphalt. The feel was great. Very precise and comfortable (I put Bones Swiss Bearings on them), it nearly felt like skating on ice, but much faster ! The inner bounce from the Mtech is excellent for turns and powerful strides. The grip with the 82A is fine but when you have to brake suddenly and strongly it's not as efficient as a 74A (what I had before. In the end, I'm very happy with this purchase, especially with the Bones Swiss bearings, these wheels felt like they were moving by themselves. No joke. The speed I got was amazing. I never skated that fast on inline skates (Bauer). Finally it doesn't look like the wheels will wear very fast or break like my
Labeda Millenium Gripper (74A).I'll definitely buy Rink Rats again. For the record, I'm 170 pounds.

Wheel Size
Most skates require a certain size wheel. There are several ways to determine what size wheel fits your skate: check what's printed on the wheel or on your frame, check your owner's manual, refer to your skate's online product description or measure the overall height in millimeters.

Wheel Durometer
The ideal wheel hardness is based on the playing surface, your weight, ability and preference. Generally, softer 72A-78A wheels are needed to grip on smoother indoor surfaces, while harder 80-84A wheels are used on rougher, outdoor surfaces to increase the life of the wheel. Typically, players skate the hardest wheel possible that allows them to maximize speed without slipping. See our Learning Center video for more detailed help on selecting the proper hardness.
Hub Size:

Hub Size
There are 2 sizes of hubs: 608 and 688. The 608 size is the more common size and the hub opening is basically the same size as nickel. 688 hubs, also know as micro hubs, have a hub opening the size of a dime.
