Cut Protection Level

The Reebok Larceny Pro Goalie Pad is Reebok's top of the line leg pad offering professional level protection, comfort and styling for any goalie. The Larceny Pro goal pads were developed, with the input of Ryan Miller, for the hybrid goalie that is looking for a hybrid style pad that enhances the butterfly transitions while also reducing the stress on joints.
The Larceny Pro pad uses high quality leather on the face of the pad and is also used on the inner roll. Leather is used throughout the pad in all of the high wear areas giving these pads excellent longevity. Protecting the goalie is the use of medium and high density foams. These extremely lightweight foams do an excellent job of absorbing the impact and deadening the puck for better rebound control. The integrated thigh guard uses both medium and high density foams with poly plastic inserts and wrapped in a lightweight nylon fabric. High quality Nash leather is used on the knee cradle, knee stack, and down the leg and boot channels making for an extremely comfortable fit. Holding everything in place is a combination of adjustable elastic and leather straps. Tree elastic straps are used throughout the pad, one that secures the thigh guard, another that keeps the knee stack from moving, and the third gives extra support to the calf. Securing the Larceny Pro into place is 7 leather straps, 2 above the knee, 3 across the calf and 2 boot straps that lock the skate into place. Toe bridge and ties are also provided keeping the front of the skate from rising.
Allowing for increased flexibility and puck protection, Reebok is using Reedirect technology. Reedirect is a set of three soft-flex knee rolls that allow for improved flex at the knee and helps reduce the puck momentum giving the goalies control over rebounds. Reebok is using their Kinetic Fit technology in the leg channel, allowing your leg pads to move with you reducing restriction and improving mobility. Reebok's REECONTROL technology, allows for a softer boot flex, giving goalies more control over rebounds off the boot. Providing more stability when landing and sliding in the butterfly position, REESTABLILIZE technology is used giving the goalie a wider design profile on the inside edge of the pad. REEACCELERATE technology allows the goalie to have a quicker reaction time with smooth leg transitions and reduced hip stress.
