The Bauer RX6 Limited Edition blocker showcases an exclusive all-white or all-black color combination. The Limited Edition RX6 build is the same as the RX6, and is an ideal blocker for the intermediate roller or recreational ice hybrid-style goaltender.
The RX6 blocker uses a synthetic leather material throughout almost the entire blocker with stitched on layers of the same leather to provide the Reflex design. The curved profile of the blocker board along with the loose fitting cuff allows for great wrist mobility with this blocker. The blocker board also tapers down near the bottom of the blocker to allow for an improved paddle down position. The RX6 blocker uses a large molded poly and foam panel on the inner side to provide full coverage of the hand. Bauer uses their contoured-flex split finger protector design to fully protect the fingers without restricting movement.
Bauer has used a reinforced Nash leather in the palm of this blocker with dual layers in the key points for additional durability. The RX6 blocker uses a simple nylon mesh in the fingers to allow great airflow to the fingers. On the inside of the blocker Bauer has included a pad that is lined with Nash leather. That pad helps to keep the blocker from rotating on the hand as well as provides some impact resistance from shots. A similar pillow-like pad is strategically located between the blocker board and the hand to provide additional impact absorption when you take shots to the blocker.
The Bauer RX6 blocker provides a sleek look with good protection and mobility.
