Overview

The Labeda Rocket Propelled Gripper (RPG) Roller Hockey Wheels feature a dual durometer design, with high quality urethanes to give players excellent speed and grip. The speed comes from an oversized inner speed ring combined with a stiff core for maximum rollout.  To stop all this speed Labeda then poured a grippy outer layer. The RPG is a true first, a high end USA made wheel at a great value, especially when considering most other hockey wheels at this price point utilize an inferior single core construction. These new wheels are outfitted on the Alkali RPD Comp Roller Hockey Skate.

  • Ideal Playing Surface:  Sport Court
  • Hardness Guidelines:
    • X-Soft (74A) = 165 lbs and below
    • Hardness selection should be based on player weight and skating ability.  A player can choose a wheel designated for a heavier skater if they have advanced skating skills to compress the wheel enough to grip.  This will allow the player to maximize their speed.
  • Fit Guidelines:  Standard hub wheel designed for the standard 608 bearing size

Image Note:  Hub design may vary from image.  Hub may be a solid or spoke hub.  Both hubs offer the same performance.

Comments: Came on my ccm tacks skates and both back wheels split and feel of the hub within a weekly only skating on smooth surface these wheels are trash

Comments: These came on my Alkali RPD Comp+ Skates. I've had the skates for about 4 weeks now and the back wheels started pulling away from the hub and shifting out of place. Don't know if its the way I skate or what but I figured they would hold up at least longer than a couple weeks. Probably will not purchase these when I buy replacements.

Comments: Used these wheels for two games. Midway through the second game one of them just split right in half. I'm only about 160lbs on a sport court style surface with mid level skating ability.  Definitely not for advanced skaters or heavier players.

Comments: These wheels came together with my brand new Tour BoneLite 500 skates - 80mm xsoft. Im 100kg so I guess they are just too soft for me. Not suitable for the heavy weight skaters.I play on a sports court and it is very grippy and fast but however after my 4th game on these, 1 wheel chunked and ripped apart and you can see some signs of exteme wear and crack on the other wheels.
