Level of Play Definitions

    Recreational-Level Skates
    Built for the new-to-hockey player or casual skaters that are looking for an affordable option. These are great starter skates, especially for youth players.

Cut Protection Level

  • This is the general level of protection against cuts.

    • Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
    • Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
    • Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

ANSI Rated Cut Level

  • Measures the actual cut resistance of materials based on the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard.

The Reebok Pro Goalie Knee Protector delvers anatomically engineered knee and thigh support and protection. These knee guards provide suitable protection for goaltenders playing up to the professional levels of ice hockey.

Sturdy moisture wicking nylon materials are used throughout offering durability and comfort. Various foams reinforced with molded plastic inserts provide improved safety and shot dampening. Reebok's three segment design allows the knee and thigh protection to move with the goaltender without restricting mobility. Comments: The belt on these knee protectors are a great feature but the knee protectors themselves are massive! I went from some Vaughn knee protectors to these and the size difference is crazy! Overall if you have a  pad with a wide knee lock then these would be great for you, but if you have a pad with a more narrow knee lock, like myself, then these probably aren't your best bet because they really restrict movement.
