The Easton E600 Hockey Helmet with Cage offers a great balance between value and performance. Easton has taken the look and fit of the E700 with a slightly different shell construction. The E600 helmet features a two-piece shell with a full coverage EPP foam liner providing you with exceptional protection. The E600 combo features the E700 cage.
Easton used 2 different materials on the E600 shell. A polycarbonate shell with a high-density polyethylene subshell provide multi-impact durability while maintaining a sleek low-profile design. A full coverage EPP foam liner makes this helmet extremely light but highly protective with crush resistant properties. The E700 cage is a lightweight multi-frame cage with a sick gun metal chrome finish. A sublimated lycra-covered compression molded chin cup provides a comfortable fit.
For the fit, Easton utilized the Giro Fit System. The Fit System is used in world class bike and snowboard helmets. This adjustable, elastic fit system in the back of the helmet provides a superior fit that fits close and snug to the head and prevents the helmet from moving around. Inside the helmet are removable and washable comfort pads for a comfortable and snug fit. Secured by velcro, these pads offer a personalize fit.

Comments: Purchased this helmet about 3 months ago and boy is it great! The fact that it's on sale right now makes it an even better sale. The fit is true to the sizing chart, but you can adjust with giro fit system to get a nice solid fit. I've taken a few hits with the helmet and it has definitely prevented any concussions or other head injuries so far. I love the chin cup and also how it protects the ears. Cleaning the helmet is easy as it allows you to remove the padding patches for easy washing and drying to prevent "the smell", and the helmet just feels nice and lightweight. It's a solid helmet that does it's job and it's at a great price, what else can you ask for?

Comments: Purchased the Easton E600 helmet because my CCM Vector 08 gave me pressure points behind the back of my head. This helmet is quite comfortable with no pressure points but unfortunately the glue that holds the removable pads fall out because the pads hold sweat. All in all it is a comfortable helmet but I wish it held up a little bit more.

Comments: Wow! absolutely the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn! Excellent fit and comfort. I wear glasses, and the helmet fits very snug, without causing any pressure or discomfort on my frames. My son wears a bauer ims 7.0, and I can honestly say, this is a much better helmet, for a lot less $$$. You will not be disappointed by the E600!

Comments: I purchased this helemt a couple months back and have loved it ever since. I was orginally looking for the Easton Z shock in black but couldn't find one in my size. I started trying on different brands of helmets, but none fit my head as comfortably as the Eastons without costing north of $150. I immediately fell in love with the comfort of the E600 series. The helmet and mask are nearly as light as the zshock but actually more comfortable. The one drawback is that the soft padding inside tends to collect sweat so later in the game when raise your eyebrows the sweat pours down your face. Just a minor issue for such a great helmet.
