The CCM QuickLite QLT 250 Hockey Shin Guards use CCM's new hinged 2 piece design to avoid any gaps in protection while providing a lightweight and mobile pad. Additionally. both the PE knee cap and lightweight shell both utilize vents to allow airflow to cool the pad and the player's leg. Around the knee and across the calf, the QLT 250 pad features PE foams for lightweight supplementary protection, as well as a plastic reinforced knee wing on the outside of the knees. 

Inside the pad, the QuickLite 250 shin guard uses a removable PU foam liner that features a knee donut to lock the knee in place. This cushioned design absorbs some of the impacts and allows the shin and knee to rest comfortably.
