The CCM Vector 10 Hockey Helmet with Cage is the premier hockey helmet in the 2012 Vector line up. The V10 features the same shell as the V08, but with an upgraded liner.
The V10 has a lightweight EPP liner and heat-activated memory foam that makes for a very protective helmet. The EPP is strategically placed to optimize coverage and performs exceptionally well at absorbing energy, while the comfort cushions keep your head comfortable.
This helmet comes with the FM06 cage which has the same basic cage construction as the FM580, but with a single density chin cup. Many players prefer the silver cage because silver does not blend in with the ice or the puck. It also gives the player a flashy "dangle-cage" look.
The pro approved ergonomic shell is designed with the industry's widest field of vision. This helmet also features a "lift and lock" tool-free adjustment that makes expanding or contracting the helmet a breeze.
The aerodynamically constructed shell has 19 strategically placed vents to increase airflow up and over the head, keeping the player cool.

Previous Feedback
Comments: This is an update to my previous comment. The pads inside the helmet are starting to slide around (temple pads). The sticky residue sticks to the hair. Used Goo Gone to clean the stickiness off. However, it is only a matter of time before the pads come off. My son has only used the helmet less than 10 times. Unless replacement pads are available, I will change my recommendation to "Don't buy."

Comments: Purchased this helmet as an upgrade from the Bauer 1500. The Bauer felt heavy and uncomfortable. While this CCM helmet is slightly lighter (819 grams vs 834 grams for the Bauer), it is much more comfortable and easier to adjust on the fly (no tools required).

Comments: This CCM helmet is very comfortable. After buying this helmet I would not consider getting anything else. The cage is very nice as well, good vision and solid design. I've taken a few bad spills and it has protected me well.

Comments: I've always had CCM helmets and never had a problem. I have a V08 in black that I've had for about 4-5 years and never had any issues. I wanted a white helmet so I got this one in white a few weeks ago and it fits fine, but after about an hour I start to get a really bad headache. I have worn it for about 4-5 games and it never fails, I start feeling pressure on my temples and get a headache. I'm hoping that eventually this will form to my head and this won't be an issue, but I'm running out of patience.
