Overview

The CCM Tacks 4052 Hockey Shoulder Pads use medium-density foam armor base for comfortable and lightweight protection. The foam armor uses vents throughout the shoulder for enhanced breathability. 

The 4052 shoulder caps use a molded plastic (PE) core with a high-density foam exterior to protect everyone on the ice. For additional protection in key areas, CCM uses a floating spine and sternum guard, made of multi-density foams with plastic inserts. Topped off with molded plastic bicep guards and a removable belly extension, the Tacks 4052 shoulder get the job done.

Comments: I've had these for a few months now and they're holding up well. No real signs of wear aside from sweat stains since they're white. Fit is great and they're not too bulky, but coverage still feels good. Good product, especially for the price. Definitely recommend them.

Comments: These shoulder pads fit great, I strongly agree with Alex's comment. These pads have and awesome fit, they wrap around you and the textured padding in the rib area gives it a nice fitting feel and doesn't feel bulky and stiff. Another bonus the sternum and spine are well protected with extra padding, and these pads also have an upper ab pad that's slightly adjustable and even detachable for whatever you're more comfortable with. Plus for the price you're getting a lot of protection, I've taken full speed hits to the boards wearing these and couldn't believe that I didn't feel the hit.

Comments: Absolutely love these shoulder pads! They offer great protection without the crazy bulk! I've gone through 3 sets of shoulders the past 5 months and what they all had in common was their bulk! I felt like i was wearing football shoulder pads. The shoulder caps have a great anatomical fit and taper downward which gives the shoulders more of a streamline flat appearence without sacraficing protection. These would make a great set for both contact and beer leagues. I ended up picking up the ccm 4052 elbows and shin guards as well and im absolutely digging them!
