The Bauer Vapor X900 Hockey Pants provide a very high level of protection without the top of the line price tag. The X900 still features top notch technology, including a 37.5™ liner that accelerates the evaporation of sweat 5 times faster than other liners by using the player's body heat to evaporate the moisture.

Bauer also includes Aerolite™ foam technology, a high density foam that is 30% lighter yet equally as protective as other high density foams, in the independent free flex spine protector. The rest of the pant is very protective with sturdy molded plastic hip and thigh guards backed by medium density foams, making them great for shot blocking. Above the waist, the kidney guard sees an upgrade with thick high and medium density foams for lightweight protection and mobility. The X900 pants also use this dual density foam protection along the inside of the pant to make up the tailbone guard.

The Bauer X900 pant uses a combination of durable and flexible fabrics throughout the pant to protect the high-wear areas without sacrificing any of the player's mobility. This includes stretch gussets and flex zones along the interior of the legs and the back of the pant, as well as a pro grade nylon along the thighs. Other great features include a 1" extension zipper along the waist for the taller players, and interior leg zippers for those players that like to put their skates on before their pants.
