For players who rely on quick bursts of speed and agile movements to dominate the game, this type of skate is ideal. These offer a moderately stiff boot that balances support with mobility. These these skates, you can swiftly change direction, make sudden moves and accelerate rapidly.

Cut Protection Level

This is the general level of protection against cuts.
- Minimum: Basic protection suitable for competitive play
- Standard: Balanced protection for intense gameplay. Protects against more severe cuts.
- Maximum: Highest level of cut resistance for elite gameplay. Ideal for competitive adult hockey and designed for the biggest and fastest players.

The Bauer Reflex RX6 Leg Pads offer flexibility and coverage that make them perfect for hybrid style goalies.
Being that flexibility is such a key aspect for the hybrid style goalies, it is nice to see that Bauer has made the RX6 leg pads with their Regulated Flex. The RX6 leg pads use the "Soft" flex set up which means they are very flexible with break points above and below the knee. That flexibility allows the pads to move with your leg, even in more unconventional stances. The RX6 leg pads also utilize a square design at the thigh and boot to provide maximum coverage of the net.
In addition to the flexibility and coverage that the RX6 leg pads offer, Bauer has also provided solid protection that is suitable for most intermediate levels of play. Bauer has used their integrated under-pant thigh protector to ensure that the gap between the pants and the leg pads is fully protected. The RX6 leg pads also use a very thick middle layer in the knee stack to provide great shock absorption when your dropping into position.

Comments:I've used the reflex pads back when they were made by Itech so I knew that when Bauer bought them out and kept the reflex design it would still be a great product. Great flexibility and customization, these Bauer pads are excellent for anyone who plays the hybrid style of goaltending where reaction is everything.

Comments:I have been using the Bauer Reflex RX6 blocker, catcher, and leg pads since March now in an Intermediate ice league and will say the these pads go way beyond expectations. they are flexible and offer better protection than you would expect for the price. I regularly take shots at about 80mph or better and have not got nothing bad to say about the pads performance, rebounds are very consistent. GREAT BUY!!
