The Bauer Profile 961 Goalie Mask offers goalies top of the line professional grade lightweight protection. The Profile 961 offers goalies maximum visibility with the (NC) non-certified cat-eye wire face mask.
Handcrafted in Canada, the Profile 961 N/C goal mask is truly a work of art. The hand-laid aramid fiber and fiberglass pro shell produces an extremely lightweight yet rigid mask that offers suitable protection for any goalie. Bauer's using a durable lightweight stainless steel cage that resists rust as well as extends the life. A soft comfort foam liner is used to dampen impact and is designed to fit comfortably on the head. The liner is mechanically attached meaning you can remove the padding and screws giving you the ability to clean, replace, or have the mask painted. Ventilation holes have been installed throughout the goalie helmet allowing the mask to breathe, keeping the goalie cool.
Adjustment features include a nylon chin strap that secures the front of the hockey goalie helmet under the chin. A molded chin cup has been included, giving the goalie the ability to adjust how the mask fits the face. The majority of the fit comes from the 5 point harness adjustable backplate straps. The elastic straps can be adjusted to fit just about any head shape ensuring a comfortable safe fit.
