The Bauer Supreme One70 Goalie Leg Pads use rigid foams to provide solid protection from shots.

The One70 leg pads feature a square/thin profile construction making them perfect for the butterfly style goalie that needs a lightweight pad with lot of net coverage. These pads use Bauer's "soft flex" design, but with no breaks in the outer roll, the pads flex easily while still retaining its square shape for maximum coverage. The outer roll of these pads is angled to offer better surface coverage and rebound control.

The Bauer One70 pads use many features that are found in Bauer's higher end pads making them a great value. These pads use Bauer's integrated under-pant thigh protector to bridge the gap in protection between the pants and the legs pads. These pads also feature Bauer's Adjustable Knee Lock (AKL) to allow for a more custom fit. The AKL allow you to fully adjust  the knee lock vertically and horizontally, or even remove it if you prefer to have a looser fit at the knee. The Bauer One70 leg pads use two nylon straps at the thigh and knee that have a very large range in adjustment to allow for a tight fit or a really loose fit depending on your preference. Another nice feature for the butterfly style goalie is that these leg pads use a large inner flap to provide additional five-hole coverage.

Comments: I got these goalie pads as I was looking to transition from roller/street hockey to ice but due to an injury never got the chance to give ice a shot (at least not yet). I have, however, used the pads for roller/street and they are definitely great pads to transition yourself from an old-school Mylec street hockey pad style to a more modern, positional butterfly style. When I finally do switch to ice hockey, if these pads are no longer useable I will definitely buy a second pair as I have grown to love the feel of them.
