Meh...I bought these to replace a set of shin guard straps I've owned for ages. My former straps were made of neoprene and never slipped or came undone. Unfortunately, these new straps, despite being well made, are simply elastic and slip down the surface of my shin guards. Kinda useless, unless you wear them over your socks - which might not even work and will certainly look ridiculous. I suppose good, old-fashioned, clear hockey tape is the answer.
