The Alkali CA9 roller hockey pants are the premier pants from the roller hockey specific brand, Alkali Hockey. Alkali wanted a durable, lightweight pant that excels in all aspects of design and performance. The pant is constructed using the Platinum body fabric, a ventilated, light weight material, that offers maximum flex and durability. Paired with an extra large Lycra gusset for maximum stretch, the CA9 pant excels in every aspect.
The CA9 pant also features Alkali's Sure-Fit belt system and Flex Back waistband for a superior fit. This allows your pants to stay tight and move with your body without falling down. Fully sublimated Alkali graphics look smooth and will not rub or peel off when you fall.

Comments: These pants are lightweight, flexible, and durable. The material is thin and breathable yet very durable, especially around the knees. After two and a half seasons, just starting to show signs of wear, but no tearing or anything major. Also, there is a lot of lycra (elastic-y material) around the groin allowing for full strides. HOWEVER, they have a really strange fit for hockey pants. The groin/hips area is too form-fitting, causing it to ride up way above my waist, and my teammate with the same pants has the same problem. I'm a 30" waist, sporting a medium, and it's clearly too small. So, I recommend buying a size larger than you normally would. Last thing, the "Sure-fit Belt System" just doesn't work; it stretches a total of two inches, and the velcro lost its stickiness way too fast. All in all, great pants IF you can get the right fit.
