Comments:Coming from ice hockey these goalie skates are VERY comfortable and soft. The plastic guards are basically the same (same contact patch as ice goalie), the only real difference is the boot of the actual skate. Compared to my Bauer 5k (ice) the boot feels like a Converse shoe, but its a good thing. Great mobility, VERY comfortable, and best of all they have small wheels.

Comments:great skates much better balance a fluid movement than regular rollerblades.they do take a bit to get used to if you never wore a golie skate on a roller hockey floor, by that i mean the plastic outter shell is slippery, your feet tend to slide out from under you if you stand on the sides of the skate as i do for face offs but you do get used to it. the good part about the slipperiness of the shell is you kick the leg out much faster and easier.side to side movement is much more stable as well. also the boot sides are much lower than a reg. skate giving optimal movement going down..all in all i give these skates an 8 outta 10

Comments: Overall, these skates are very good. Very good mobility and the ability to lean into or foward on the skate without pain or limitation of motion at the ankle. That impressed me the most. The heel has soft devices that lock the heel so you dont have any slippage. My only problem(and it can be a big one)is the steel or hard plastic toe box. The toe box has a ridge that you can feel inside the skate. I am not talking about the protective shell on all goal skates, NikeBauer also put a reinforced toe box in as well. A bit of overkill for Rollerhockey. Anyway, it does put some uncomfortable pressure on top of my great and second toes. Although I havent blistered, I imagine it can happen.
