Comments:I was going to go with the K2 100s but got tired of waiting for my size to come in (K2s fault) so I went with the RB 10s and Im very happy with them. They do feel very good and I have no problem with power transfer and very good speeds. The wheels though suck IMHO. The Hyper Stripes are easily worn down and quickly lose their grip and roll. If you buy a set of RB 10s buy the Mach 2s along with them. Burn out the Hyper Stripes just to get used to the RB 10s and then move to the Mach 2s. The laces are another issue.. they are terrible. Pick up some good laces to replace them if you buy the skates. The boots are excellent and the power straps work out very well. The boot has an outer shell with an inner liner. The fit is very nice and comfortable and the cushion between the foot and the frame is not too thick so power transfer is not a problem. Their stability at higher speeds is also very good. Granted the colors make them look like space boots on drugs but that is not hard to fix.. just recolor them. I did. LOL! The frames are a set of Mogema twin box and work very well. Absurdly easy to take the wheels off for rotation and to adjust the frames by moving them left or right to your liking using the front and rear frame bolts. The mountings are 190mm standard spacing so even trying out different boots or frames with similiar spacing at a later date might be a good possibility. The bearings are a set of ABEC 7s.. not sure of the manufacturer. I replaced them immediately with my set of ILQ-9s which I wont ever go without so I cant really give any thoughts on the ABEC 7s. For the price to get a good advanced fitness set of skates with enough features to allow you to go fast and have a very good roll its hard to beat. In the end its a toss up between the K2s and RB 10s.. but my vote is for the RB 10s.
