Bearing Spacers
The bearing spacer is an important part of the wheel assembly. Without, your wheel likely wouldn’t operate as needed.  The bearing spacer adds support to the wheel structure, and works with the axle so that your bearings can spin freely.

Each wheel on a skate requires one bearing spacer.   The location of the spacer is between the two bearings at the center of the wheel.

There are two types of bearings spacers: Floating & Sleeved.

Floating SpacerSleeved Spacer

Floating Spacers are used with 8mm (in diameter) axles while the Sleeved Spacers are used with 6mm axles.  A video showing how to remove bearings and spacers, can be seen when watching the How to Clean Bearings or How to Rotate Wheels videos.
