The Sherwood Rekker EK15 Hockey Stick is one of the lightest hockey sticks the market has ever seen. The EK15 is constructed using a unique handmade process that eliminates excess material and defects to provide a durable, consistent and sub-400 gram stick.

The Rekker EK15 utilizes a true one-piece spear construction process that gives players an incredible puck feel, excellent balance and a consistent flex profile. Sherwood used a high grade carbon fiber that is 30% lighter than it's competition, providing top notch pop and responsiveness players are looking for. The EK15 is even 45 grams lighter than the Nexon N12 and 65 grams lighter than the True Touch T100.

Sherwood took the previous Vibration Reduction Foam Core++ and looked to evolve it. The new VRF.2 uses a much improved high density foam core that helps to keep the stick feeling newer, longer. Providing the support and rigidity, the carbon bridge ensures the blade face stays square to the target without opening up and losing accuracy.

Comments: Loved this stick while it lasted (which was about 2 months). I play adult C league hockey and had never broken a stick in the few years I have been playing -- until a couple weeks ago.

The Rekker feels amazing. It is light-weight and seemed to give me more of a scoring touch. Bummer that it broke so quickly and easily (it broke on a wrist-shot -- and don't even put much power behind shots yet).

I only buy Sherwoods since my first 'love' was a TPS Response followed by N12. Not sure if I'll stick with Sherwood or not though anymore. Bummer the warranty expired already.

Comments: Love this stick, stopped using my Bauer and Warrior after purchasing this. Makes my other sticks feel so heavy. Extremely light, pulling in pucks one handed is a breeze, makes dangling much quicker and easier and the pop for snap shots is amazing. I only wish they would make a non-grip version of the PP88 curve! Customer service is great as well.

Heel curves are good for slap shots, one timers, and back handers.

The mid-kick flex profile is for the player who puts a lot of lean into their wrist/slap shots and are looking for a powerful release on their shots. The variable-kick flex profile offers a constant flex profile allowing custom kick points depending on the placement of the player's lower hand.
