Comments: Perfect for beer league hockey.  There is enough protection from the normal bumping in the corners, but a little thin if taking an errant shot right to the chest. You barely even notice you are wearing them for the games.
From: Tim, FL

Comments: Light, light, light! But also light on protection. I normally get really hot in shoulder pads and these are great because I don't like to go pad-less(to many high pucks and accidental contact). I do wish they were a bit longer and maybe some more plastic pieces for the chest and spine.

I am hoping a padded shirt and these will be the best combo for my "no-check" league.
From: Lew, WI

Comments: These are a great pair of shoulder pads for a non-check rec league player interested in not wearing shoulder pads, but not crazy enough to do it. The shoulders are very low profile and beyond the very slight weight increase, you won't even notice they are there. The chest protection is a little thin, but each player has to decide the level of risk they are willing to assume for comfort. First game I wore these, I took a decently hard clear right into the chest and came away with only a small bruise. I am very happy with them.

The floating sternum and spinal guard are two of the great features involved in these T90 Undercover shoulder pads. This type of technology heightens mobility and increases protection because of the dual-layered effect.
