The Rink Rat Crossbar Lite Goalie Hockey Wheel is one of the premier goalie wheels money can buy. The Crossbar Lite wheel utilizes Rink Rat's Interlock Hub technology in collaboration with a single-pour urethane to provide unmatched durability and performance. The Interlock Hub technology means the urethane is poured through the hub, creating a stronger bond between the hub and urethane. After rigorous testing and several prototypes, Rink Rat found the wheel that recorded the best results among their play-testers. Rink Rat's testers said that the wheel out performed previous models and offered great response when pushing side-to-side.

Comments: nice and soft, provides awesome grip. Didn't slide out all game. Not sure about durability yet because of the softness, only time will tell (only played one game with them). Would highly recommend them so far!

Wheel Size
Most skates require a certain size wheel. There are several ways to determine what size wheel fits your skate: check what's printed on the wheel or on your frame, check your owner's manual, refer to your skate's online product description or measure the overall height in millimeters.

The ideal wheel hardness is based on the playing surface, your weight, ability and preference. Generally, softer 72A-78A wheels are needed to grip on smoother indoor surfaces, while harder 80-84A wheels are used on rougher, outdoor surfaces to increase the life of the wheel. Typically, players skate the hardest wheel possible that allows them to maximize speed without slipping. See our Learning Center video for more detailed help on selecting the proper hardness.

Hub Size
There are 2 sizes of hubs: 608 and 688. The 608 size is the more common size and the hub opening is basically the same size as nickel. 688 hubs, also know as micro hubs, have a hub opening the size of a dime.
