The Reebok 8.0.8 O-Stick replaces the popular Reebok 9K O-stick and delivers a completely new clean, crisp look and improved engineering.

Reebok has completely redesigned the O-tech Power Port Zone™.  The Power Port Zone™ now actually features 8 arches recessed into the shaft.  This design is even more aerodynamic and produces less drag when compared to the 9K stick.  The O-tech™ design increases stick speed for quicker, harder shots, adds torsional stiffness for greater shot accuracy and added strength against slashes.

Reebok has also used what they are calling Pure Fiber Technology, which uses the same strands of carbon fiber running from the shaft into the blade.  This results in having to use less materials decreasing the weight of the stick.  It also maximizes energy transfer and improves the responsive feel.  The Reebok 808 hockey stick is constructed out of high modulus graphite to reduce weight while not compromising any strength.

The Reebok 808 0-Stick also features a lightweight graphite blade to reduce the weight at the bottom of the stick.  Giving the stick a more balanced feel.

The Reebok 8.0.8 hockey stick has a higher kick point compared to the Reebok 10K stick.  This results in a slightly slower shot release, but allows the Reebok 808 to load up more energy on shots, packing a more powerful punch.

This particular version of the Reebok 8.0.8 stick comes with a traditional smooth finish, allowing for easier lower hand movement.

  • Construction:
    • Precision Bladder Molded - High modulus graphite reduces weight without sacrificing durability
    • Pure Fiber Technology™ - Individual carbon fibers run through the shaft straight down to the blade for maximum energy transfer
  • Shaft:
    • 8 Power Ports™ - More aerodynamic arches provide less drag than ever before increasing stick speed and power
      • Creates more torsional strength for deadly accurate shots and passes
  • Geometry:
    • Traditional square shaft construction
  • Grip: Traditional smooth shaft finish
  • Blade:
    • Light Graphite blade - Reduces weight at the bottom of the stick and adds significant power
    • Great overall balanced feel
  • Flex: Mid 75, Reg 85, Stiff 100
  • Length: Mid 58", Reg 60", Stiff 60"

Handedness
If you hold the stick with your left hand at the top of the stick, then you use a (R) handed stick. If you hold the stick with your right hand at the top, then you use a left (L) handed stick.  As stick size increases, the length and diameter of the shaft also increase.

Flex
The flex of a hockey stick is how stiff the shaft is. Youth sticks are 30-40 flex, Junior sticks are 45-55 flex, Intermediate sticks are 55-75 flex and Senior sticks are 75 - 110 flex.

Curve
Each curve brings forth different advantages: Toe curves are less common and are good for stick handling and shooting. Mid curves are the most popular and are recommended for beginners, they are good for puck handling, wrist and snap shots. Mid Heel curves are a combination of a mid and heel curves. Heel curves are good for slap shots, one timers, and back handers.
Grip:
?
Grip
Choose between grip and non-grip coatings on the shaft. Grip texture allows for a more solid hold on the shaft while the non-grip coating allows the hands to change position more quickly.
Flex Profile:

Flex Profile
The low-kick flex profile is for the players looking for a quick shot release, ideal for wrist and snap shots. The mid-kick flex profile is for the player who puts a lot of lean into their wrist/slap shots and are looking for a powerful release on their shots. The variable-kick flex profile offers a constant flex profile allowing custom kick points depending on the placement of the player's lower hand.

Materials
Composite sticks are the most popular because they offer the best overall performance. Wood is the traditional material and offers the best puck feel. ABS is used in the blades to add durability for playing on rougher surfaces like concrete and asphalt.
