The Mission Pro Compression Padded Shirt is the most unique and protective padded shirt on the market due to the removable and adjustable bicep guards and shoulder caps. This Pro Compression shirt gives players four different set up options to choose from; the most protective option uses the shoulder caps and bicep guards, the most lightweight option uses neither the shoulder caps or the bicep guards, the third option using just the shoulder caps and finally the fourth option uses the bicep guards only.

The base layer of this Pro Compression Shirt uses the premier Thermo Max+ Liner that is soft to the touch and is very efficient at wicking away moisture. The integrated high density hex foams offer a great level of protection for vital areas of the body and are also fully perforated for excellent breathability. The shoulder caps and bicep guards are constructed of a ribbed plastic insert backed by comfortable foams, making this a shirt great for roller players looking for top notch protection or ice players who may be in a non-contact league but want the peace of mind of being well protected. Mission designed this Pro Compression Padded Shirt to work with the Pro Compression Girdle for superior protection from top to bottom.

Comments: Love the concept of this Padded Shirt, but the execution is a little lacking. Maybe it is just me, but I definitely don't like anything this tight. According to the size chart Mission provides, I should wear a Large, but even the XL is beyond snug. Wouldn't be bad if there was any stretchability to the fabric, but there isn't. I switched to the relaxed version, and like the fit so much more. Would prefer the additional protection of this version, but just way too tight for me.

Comments: This thing fits extremely tight, especially around the gut. It also feels like it would be pretty dang warm in an outdoor environment. It almost feels like a corset for a man.

Otherwise, it looks well-padded, though I have my doubts about the effectiveness of the chest pads; a few solid chest-thumps left me a little breathless.

Sizing is also a joke- the XL barely fits me when most XLs will. There really isn't any stretch with this product. I am thinking I should have gone with the relaxed fit version of this, and I still might.

Mission Hockey Padded Shirts Senior

  • The Mission Pro Compression Padded Shirt is designed with protective customization in mind. Both the high-density shoulder pad and molded plastic bicep guard are adjustable by velcro nylon straps and fully removable if desired.

  • The Mission Elite Relaxed Padded Shirt provides just the right amount of protection for roller hockey. It utilizes perforated foams strategically placed to keep players mobile. The foams in the sternum, back, and sides/kidneys are slightly thicker to maximize protection without sacrificing mobility.
