Overview

MPC Black Magic Inline Speed Skating Wheels are the apex of MPC's wheel offerings, combining their best hub design and urethane mix. Consistent performance, no matter where you skate.

The resilient inner band provides rebound for good roll on smooth surfaces or rough asphalt. It also allows flex around corners for a secure footprint and grip. The high-durometer outer urethane reduces the straight-line footprint.

FIRM (83A) is recommended for when race conditions are rough or slick.
XFIRM (85A) for when conditions are hard, smooth, and dry.
XXFIRM (87A) for when you want maximum roll and speed.

MPC's patented MTech® Soft Heart, Hard Body™ Technology
Combines a soft inner ring with a harder outer urethane.
Suitable for both road and indoor track skating.

Absolutely the bestFact, I have tried almost every single wheel brand. There's only 1 thing I don't recommend these for, urban street skating. They will wear quite quickly. I recommend the RB Hydrogen (not pro) wheels for urban. Wheels I've tried, Junk MPC, Junk Pro, Atom Boom Magic (discontinued), Atom Boom indoor (fastest and stickiest, but you'll feel every bump!), Piper Legend (purple), Konnixx Pure (both white & blue) and even some aluminum hub wheels. As odd as it seems, even though all the MPC magic urethane wheels are said to be the same, they don't skate the same. The Junk brand are the least grippy and wore faster for me. Junk Pro are zero grippy, don't recommend this brand at all! Basic RB Hydrogen are soft and wear great for street skating. Atom Boom Magic were amazing, similar to the MPC black magic but now discontinued. The new Piper Legend was the worst wheel I've ever skated. These wheels are painfully hard (even though I usually skate on a smooth indoor floor), they grip until they don't and will let loose without warning, they have NO rebound and feel like they constantly drag me to a stop, very tiring wheels. Now on to the king! I ordered the 100mm Xfirm MPC Black Magic. I skate Powerslide HC Evos on the shortest 100mm frame. I'm about 195lbs. These wheels are crazy fast, very smooth, lightest of all the 100mm wheels (122g), best rebound and power transfer of any wheel I've tried while also being insane sticky. Highly recommend!

Comments:I found this wheel to be too flexible for me. I'm a 200 lb skater. The hub does not appear to be as stiff as other wheels in the same price range.
From:Mark, Shorewood IL

Comments: These aren't cheap but they are awesome. I tear through wheels fast; I skate everywhere and on every surface. These are hard enough to hold up to abuse but not slippery at all. Just might be my new favorites.
