The Labeda Dynasty III , AKA D3, wheel features a new Dynasty core and uses a more advanced urethane.  The Dynasty Core offers more flex allowing the wheel to flatten in turns, widening its surface area, providing maximum gripping power.  The Dynasty continues to be a triple durometer urethane construction to get the right balance of grip and speed.  The D3 uses the same advanced urethane as the Addiction wheel, just layered differently to really focus on grip.

Micro hub wheel designed for the micro 688 size bearing.

  • The Dynasty III wheel features 3 layers of hardness:
    • Outer urethane layer is soft for maximum grip.
    • Inner urethane ring:
      • Ring works to retract and spring back under different stride loads
      • Provides unmatched straight away speeds while producing energy in the tightest corning
    • Flex core urethane allows the wheel to flex to maximize the outer layer's footprint(contact with the floor) and spring back at its designated points.
  • Fast, narrow high-performance profile
  • Hardness available: XSoft 74A
  • Sizes available: 72, 76, 80mm
  • Ideal for fast, indoor play

Comments:These wheels came with the new Thor ZX-9 skates. These wheels are great when it comes to grip but terrible amongst durability. Within 2 days of light use, my front wheel got a huge chunk in it. Talked to Labeda and they said they would send me two more wheels. Within a week after using a temporary backup wheel for the front, my other front wheel got a huge chunk in it! Now I understand why they said they would send me two wheels in which I am now hesitant to keep. Please avoid if you plan on purchasing these type of wheels.

Most skates require a certain size wheel. There are several ways to determine what size wheel fits your skate: check what's printed on the wheel or on your frame, check your owner's manual, refer to your skate's online product description or measure the overall height in millimeters.
Wheel Durometer:

The ideal wheel hardness is based on the playing surface, your weight, ability and preference. Generally, softer 72A-78A wheels are needed to grip on smoother indoor surfaces, while harder 80-84A wheels are used on rougher, outdoor surfaces to increase the life of the wheel. Typically, players skate the hardest wheel possible that allows them to maximize speed without slipping. See our Learning Center video for more detailed help on selecting the proper hardness.
