The Easton Stealth 85S II Grip Hockey Stick is an advanced stick that has some of the same features as the RS like the upgraded blade with extra ribs, pro shaft dimensions, and the Elliptical Taper profile. The Elliptical Taper provides a low-kick point while the shaft is constructed out of Carbon and Kevlar® making it lightweight and durable.
The 85S features a pro inspired shaft dimension that most of the NHL players use, feeling slightly narrower with straight sidewalls and rounded corners. The shaft is wrapped with a Hybrid Kevlar®. The Kevlar® is blended with Carbon to provide a lightweight feel along with being very durable. The Elliptical Taper provides a low-kick point for quick and accurate releases.
The construction of the 85S blade uses a micro-bladder process that produces a more consistent blade for improved puck feel and shot response. The bladder sits higher to provide a bigger impact zone for more power. The lower core is split into 3 sections creating faster response time and reduces the blades fatigue. Multiple ribs run the length of the blade providing improved blade strength decreasing blade deflection increasing accuracy and power.
