The Easton ST16 hockey elbow pads are the top pads in Easton's ST line.
Easton has used a 2-piece design on these elbow pads keeping the physical player in mind. There is a single piece of dense molded plastic in the elbow and forearm portion of the pad. This results in a comfortable fit that does not have any segment breaks in protection. Easton has also given layer of foam on each side of this core plastic providing additional comfort and protection. To further increase the protection offered by this pad, Easton has put an EVA cap over the elbow for additional protection.
Easton has also used a molded piece of plastic in the bicep and tricep portion of the pad giving a more contoured fit. This pad features the thickest plastic in this portion of the pad than any other pad in the Easton ST line. Similar to the lower portion the molded plastic is surrounded by foam on both sides.
The soft U-shape liner piece and standard 3-piece strap system help lock the pad into place getting it from moving during play.
