The Eagle X5 hockey gloves offer the same great glove design that Eagle is popular for, yet at a more affordable price. Eagle is able to bring there glove technology to the market at a more affordable price because the X5 glove is imported from overseas where as the X72, X72i, X88 and PPF gloves are stitched in Canada.
Eagle uses a traditional leather exterior with the embroidered Eagle logo that will not rub off. The X5 also comes with plastic reinforcements throughout the glove to provide advanced protection. Compared to some other gloves on the market this is not the lightest glove, however much of that is due to the advanced level of protection. Eagle has not tried to reinvent the wheel with this glove. Rather Eagle has perfected the construction and produced a solid quality traditional hockey glove.
Similar to the construction the X6 offers a traditional hockey glove fit. Leaving plenty of volume in the backhand providing a loose fit, that maximizes wrist mobility.
