The CCM U+ 08 Grip stick is a great step up from an entry model. The U+ 08 is offered in 4 colors depending on the curve you choose. The FUSE shaft technology and compression molded blade offer good response and snap. Coated with a slightly rubbery grip coating.

CCM has constructed the U+ 08 shaft out of Lightweight carbon which offers a solid feel and durability.  The FUSE technology provides a low responsive kick point. This low kickpoint adds more snap to every shot type. The blade on the U+10 is built with Single Bridge construction for a rigid and focused "sweet spot."

The curve determines the color of the stick  Color chart:

Comments: On my second U+08, broke the first one blocking a slapshot, which was surpassing. The newer one is still kicking.

Comments: I bought this stick two months ago and the toe is already cracking and splitting. Every time the puck hits the blade you can hear the weak spots in it. I only play pick up games once a week so I'm a bit disappointed that I'm already having to think about replacing it.

Comments: I purchased this stick a couple weeks ago. Good stick for the price. Not too heavy yet very durable. I've tried other sticks around this price point, and this was the best so far. I play in a adult REC league, and this stick handles it well. I would recommend this stick.
