The CCM FM580 Cage has many of the same features as last year's very popular FM480. CCM widened the cage up to increase visibility, and they also upgraded the chin cup to a dual density floating chin cup with a microwick liner. This cage fits all CCM helmets, and most other certified helmets.
The white color cage helps many players see the puck better, because the white cage contrasts the black puck on the white ice.

Comments: Whatever helmet you get, you need to put this cage on! It looks sick! It also has great vision. I remember my Bauer cage had like two bars going down the middle which was very unnecessary and distracted me. The chin cup is comfortable and protective! snaps are easy to clip on. Best cage iv used. It is worth it
