The Bauer Vapor X40 Goalie Blocker offers balance between mobility and protection.
Bauer has mainly used synthetic leathers on the X40 blocker. The cuff features some heavy duty nylon for great durability and lightweight. The palm is a traditional leather with dual overlays for increased durability. The gussets on the fingers are a mesh material for ventilation.
The X40 goalie blocker also features a two piece finger guard for an increased range of motion and better stick control. Bauer has used a 1" velcro leather strap for a customized fit. The cuff has an open feel offering great mobility. The X40 blocker also features an aggressive board curve for enhanced rebound control.
