The Bauer Vapor APX hockey gloves are the top of the line gloves in the Vapor line up. The APX gloves feature a unique foam construction keeping the glove lightweight while giving you a high level of protection. The APX glove is tapered, offering complete hand, thumb, and wrist articulation.
Bauer has used a combination of synthetic leather and cable mesh for the exterior on the APX glove. This offers great durability and a nice balance of breathability and lightweight feel.
For protection the APX gloves feature dual density Aero foam throughout the fingers and the backhand of the glove without using plastic inserts reducing the overall weight of the glove by 20% while still maintaing that high level of protection. Bauer did add plastic inserts to the outside of the pinky finger further protecting the outside of your hand.
Bauer gave the APX glove an upgraded palm from last years X:60 glove. The APX glove features the Flex Nash palm made out of the highest grade materials, maintaing a premium feel and durability. The addition of X-STATIC® silver fibers provides the glove with even more protection against odor and staining.
