The shin cap of the One55 is ribbed to disperse the energy from any direct shot or hit taken to the shin. The knee cap is strategically attached to offer great flexibility from the shin cap. The calf guard has a plastic insert for added protection to the back of the leg.
This pad also features Bauer's Thermo-Max material in part of the liner - a great feature for this shin guards price. The strapping system is very similar to Bauer's higher end shin guards, simply made from different material. The top anchor strap is a stretchy mesh material which secures the knee cap. The oversized calf strap keeps the calf guard in place while securing the rest of the pad to the leg.
