The Bauer Supreme One55 elbow pads are a great price point pad providing the player with ample protection.
Starting at the bicep guard these pads use a fairly common design. Bauer uses poly inserts in the bicep portion to offer
additional protection. The Dome technology provides further protection on the out side of the pad. It would of been nice to see
the anchor strap in the bicep guard portion as well but the standard elastic strap does the job.
The One55 elbow pad has a covered hard cap, giving it a nice quality look. On this portion of the pad Bauer does utilize the
anchor strap. This is a micro mesh like material that is more comfortable then standard elastic straps. The anchor strap is also a
breathable material that adds to the comfort. The plastic reinforced slash guard gives additional protection. Finally on this
portion there is a nylon strap over the slash guard with an over sized velcro "loops" pad. This allows the player to customize the
fit to their preference.
