The Bauer Supreme ONE.8 GripTac hockey sticks are a favorable medium between the ONE.7 and the ONE.9 sticks in the Supreme line. While the ONE.8 does not feature the Power Core 3 blade or the Monocomp technology seen in the ONE.9, it is identical in all the other specs. The ONE.8 features a premium 3k carbon composite construction which was seen only in the blade of the ONE.7. This will make for a more consistent shaft that will be lighter and will increase responsiveness.
The ONE.8 GripTac sticks feature the ergonomically designed TAC-SPIRAL raised texture that allows your fingers to really set in on the double concave walls. The GripTac gripping texture gives the shaft a rubbery feel that enables your hands to get a solid lock on it. These two features make for excellent stick control for those times when you really need to hold on. The Pure Shot Blade Profile enlarges the throat area that connects the shaft and the blade. This added material makes this blade more durable as well as more rigid, decreasing shot deflection while increasing shot or pass accuracy. The Aero Foam II blade core enables this blade to be very consistent throughout giving the stick a better feel for the puck and reduces puck deflection too. The Supreme power dual taper collaborates with the mid-kick point to speed up and intensify the loading process, giving you a powerful shot in return. The ONE.8 GripTac sticks are ideal to a style of hockey that uses big winding slap shots and one-timers.
