The Bauer RX4 Classic Chest Protector is designed for the entry roller or recreational ice goalie.
The RX4 chest protector uses molded shoulder caps with a soft foam lining to provide great protection and shot dampening to the shoulder. The chest blocks on the RX4 chest protector are anatomically design allowing the protection to contour to the body. Bauer has used a 1" wide nylon strap to connect the back panel to the front of the chest protector.
The RX4 chest protector uses a heavy duty nylon material on the front with a neoprene-like material as a liner. The RX4 chest protector uses dense foam in the chest blocks for protection. Bauer has used several adjustment features to ensure a snug fit with this chest protector. On the arm there are 3 elastic strap at the elbow and a velcro strap at the wrist to provide a secure fit.

Comments: I play mostly ball hockey and this chest pad is great. I was playing with the Reebok 2k street chest
protector, but as the guys I was playing with got better, their shots got harder and went from a few stingers to some pretty big
bruises. So I picked up one of these bad boys, and boy what an improvement. I no longer flinch at slappers and have not gotten a
stinger since. These are a bit bulkier than the previous street set, and are a bit stiffer and take a bit of wear-in, but they are great
for the money and level I am playing at.
