Bauer Prodigy SILVER Hockey Sticks Yth

The Bauer Prodigy Silver Hockey Sticks are an excellent choice for the young, new-to-hockey player and family. After extensive research, Bauer created this Prodigy Hockey Stick that is specifically designed for the first-time or developing youth hockey player. It is strategically offered in three different heights with corresponding shaft thicknesses to give each player a stick that is designed to meet their individual needs.

Bauer implemented certain design elements on this Prodigy stick to give players and their family more than just a hockey stick. The blade and the top of the handle feature instructional graphic guides on how to properly tape the stick before ever stepping foot on the ice. They also included a removable butt-end cap that makes the stick easier to hold on to during a game and makes it easier to pick the stick up off of the rink if it falls.

Mid curves are the most popular and are recommended for beginners, they are good for puck handling, wrist and snap shots. Mid Heel curves are a combination of a mid and heel curves. Heel curves are good for slap shots, one timers, and back handers.

The low-kick flex profile is for the players looking for a quick shot release, ideal for wrist and snap shots. The mid-kick flex profile is for the player who puts a lot of lean into their wrist/slap shots and are looking for a powerful release on their shots. The variable-kick flex profile offers a constant flex profile allowing custom kick points depending on the placement of the player's lower hand.

Materials
Composite sticks are the most popular because they offer the best overall performance. Wood is the traditional material and offers the best puck feel. ABS is used in the blades to add durability for playing on rougher surfaces like concrete and asphalt.
